Keeping It Classy

Short square nails
Black nail varnish
Studs to match your preferred jewellery, gold for me

Chic.... Classy.... Get Noticed
It was a given, I had to file the nail length back because I somehow, somewhere broke a nail. So super trendy, kid friendly nubs happened. And personally, I love this look. It's day to day doable, and my length of choice for dark colours. Dark colours on long nails are a bit too vampy for my style, but still look totally awesome on the right people.
For this sleek look I used Biosculpture #2017 Licorice with Biosculpture High Gloss Topcoat to seal and protect, I decorated with 2mm round gold studs, also from Biosculpture.
This black is amazing, total opacity in two coats, and as with all Biosculpture nail varnish, the formula is so smooth, velvety and easy to apply. I don't know how they make them so perfect. You can definately tell the difference between it and your cheaper brands.

Before I go any further, I want to make it known that I am not paid to say good things about certain brands. I say what I feel. I am, however, doing my manicure/pedicure corse through Biosculpture and will be offering it in my salon, which is why I'm putting reviews up here.

Anyway, black nails, nice short square or squoval ones....Get some.
They make you feel dressed up, very 'fashion', and trust me, people will notice your beautiful fingers.

From The Beginning- A Quick Background Of Me

My First Blog Post...Be Kind
I'm hoping my blog is informative, sometimes amusing and interesting to someone out there.
I am a crazy 35 yr old lady, married, with three children under the age of five, who is starting out on a new journey in my life. Nails!!
Expect honesty, I'm opinionated.
Expect truth, I love what I like, and I know what I don't like.
I will be documenting my journey on here with you, reviewing my favourite products, and talking about the construction of my Bio Sculpture exclusive nail salon.
Often at times, I'm doing this with kids screaming in my ear, and feeding a baby. So I apologize if things get a little weird at times. I'm hoping to reach out to other mum's out there, and people who are interested in my reviews of products I like, love and dislike.

I remember when my love of nails started, I would've been about 9 or 10, and at a friends house, discovered a Revlon Coral colored nail polish.... I loved it. I'm pretty sure I stole it and took it home, upon which my mother said, "you can't wear that, it look's trashy!". Well, when you're told you can't do something, what do you do????
Red nail polish followed, and to this day, Red nail polish is always a winner with me.

Fast forward 20yrs...
My now mother in law, bought me a gift certificate for a local BioSculpture nail salon. I had never heard of it, but it was to begin a love affair with my nails that would go on to this day.
To make this first post brief, after my 3rd son was born in March, I purchased for myself a gel nail kit I'd heard about (I'll get to that one day later on). I loved it, and began experimenting with nail art, playing with friends and families nails, and discovered a new love I had never even contemplated before. I had previously worked in childcare and hospitality all my life.
Lo and behold, a whole new journey had started for me. It's been fast paced, exhilarating, fun, and at times stressful.....but I love it!
Stay tuned for more snapshots of my background, and my here and now what's going on with all this hooplah!!!
If you read this far, thanks!! I talk way to much, I think my husband will be grateful I started this blog!
See you soon.
Some of my Instagram and Facebook pics, displaying the kind of things you have to look forward to on here. Stay tuned, as I learn all about how this works. I'm kind of a technology dinosaur!
